One emblem in use. No borrowed certifications.
The European emblem is used only as a reference to European identity. Its presence does not, by itself, imply any affiliation, funding, sponsorship, approval or endorsement by the European Union.
Why the European emblem appears here
The European Union’s legal notice allows third-party use without written permission when it does not create a false connection with EU institutions, does not suggest support, sponsorship, approval or consent that does not exist, and is not connected with unlawful activities or objectives incompatible with EU principles.
CNSBII therefore keeps the emblem visually separate from its own mark and uses it only in the International context with a permanent independence notice. It is not combined with the words “funded by” or “co-funded by”, and it is not presented as an EU institution, programme, partner or beneficiary.
Who is responsible for these pages
CNSBII is an environmental civic project managed by Nuove Prospettive ODV ETS. It is not a European Union body, a public authority or a separate legal entity. The association is responsible for the project within the limits described in the Italian legal-identity page.

Submitting comments to an EU public consultation or publishing a report addressed to an EU institution is civic participation. It does not, by itself, establish accreditation, partnership, approval or institutional representation. Any formal status or funding must be supported by an identifiable official record.
The EU emblem is not the European Commission logo
The European Union emblem is covered by the third-party use conditions linked above. The European Commission has a distinct institutional logo. Its use by third parties requires prior permission from the Commission. CNSBII does not present the Commission logo as its own identity or as evidence of endorsement.

Marks and badges policy
A familiar logo can look like an approval. The European emblem is currently the only public institutional symbol in use. Other marks listed below are not activated automatically: each one requires the stated purpose, evidence and scope.
European Union emblem
It may be used without written permission if it creates no false connection and suggests no EU support, sponsorship, approval or consent. On this portal it remains separate from the CNSBII mark and carries a permanent independence notice.

These visibility marks belong to actual EU funding and its obligations. They cannot be used merely to communicate a general European dimension.

W3C allows the logo to state the conformance level reached. It remains disabled until a documented human WCAG 2.2 AA evaluation defines its scope; it is not a W3C review or approval.

No individual permission is needed when the official button describes the licence actually applied to a specific work and links to its deed. CNSBII must first verify rights and decide the licence and scope.

Versions intended for non-UN entities may be used without prior permission for informational, non-commercial purposes under the official guidelines. They must not be merged into the CNSBII logo or imply UN partnership or approval.

The variant incorporating the UN emblem is not for entities outside the United Nations System.
Official conditions ↗Current publication decision. The WCAG, Creative Commons and SDG marks remain off. They may be enabled only after the relevant evaluation or editorial decision has been documented. The European Commission logo, EU funding marks and the SDG logo carrying the UN emblem remain blocked unless the required legal basis exists.
External services register
The interface, fonts and map engine used by these pages are served from the CNSBII domain. The remaining network services are declared below instead of being hidden behind the interface.
JavaScript and CSS are served by the CNSBII domain; no CDN is required to start the map engine.
Map images remain provided by OpenStreetMap with attribution; the browser contacts the tile server only while a map is in use.
The public page does not call a translation provider. External drafts start only on an operator command and remain drafts until human review.
Declared residual dependency: it is downloaded only when the user requests a PNG. Any local replacement remains part of the final technical review.
Scope note. This register improves operational transparency; it is not a legal certification. OpenStreetMap tiles remain external and the authenticated screenshot tool still has one declared on-demand external dependency.
